Letter of Credit

You may request a letter of credit here.

This letter shows your internal credit standing with New Mexico Gas Company and is based on your most recent 12-month payment history. This information is only released at your request and authorization. Common uses for these letters are to help reduce or waive a deposit with another utility company when you’re moving or to help with a loan.

If you would like a letter stating your internal credit standing with New Mexico Gas Company, log on to Manage My Account. Then select “Request letter of credit.” 

You can choose to instantly download a copy of your letter of credit to print, email or fax. Or you may request that a copy be mailed to you at the address we have on record. You should receive the letter of credit within 3 to 5 business days.
